Daily Care
Good habits go a long way in maintaining the condition of your leather goods:
✓ Wipe down with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove surface dust
✓ Avoid overfilling bags and wallets to preserve their shape
✓ Keep leather away from direct sunlight and heat sources
✓ Allow leather to breathe — avoid storing in plastic bags or airtight containers
✓ Rotate your pieces regularly to allow them to rest
Cleaning
For light soiling, a slightly damp cloth is usually sufficient. For deeper cleaning:
✓ Use a specialist leather cleaner appropriate for the leather type
✓ Apply with a soft cloth using gentle, circular motions
✓ Never use household detergents, alcohol-based products, or baby wipes
✓ Always test any product on a discreet area first
✓ Allow to dry naturally — never use a hairdryer or place near a radiator

Conditioning
Conditioning replenishes the natural oils in leather, keeping it supple and preventing cracking:
✓ Condition every 3–6 months, or more frequently in dry climates
✓ Apply a small amount of leather conditioner with a soft cloth
✓ Work in gently and allow to absorb fully before use
✓ Buff lightly with a clean cloth to restore a gentle sheen
✓ Avoid over-conditioning — less is more
Protection
Protecting your leather from the elements will significantly extend its life:
✓ Apply a leather protector spray before first use
✓ Reapply after cleaning or every few months
✓ If caught in rain, blot dry immediately with a soft cloth — do not rub
✓ Allow wet leather to dry naturally at room temperature
✓ Stuff bags with tissue paper while drying to retain their shape
Storage
Proper storage is essential, particularly for pieces not in regular use:
✓ Store in a dust bag or pillowcase to protect from dust and light
✓ Stuff bags with acid-free tissue paper to maintain their structure
✓ Keep in a cool, dry place with good air circulation
✓ Avoid storing in humid environments such as basements
✓ Store watch straps flat or on a strap roll to prevent creasing
